About Dennis

Dennis Hudson built his academic foundation in Tennessee before moving to Florida to launch his legal career. He earned a B.S. in political science from Tennessee State University in 1997. He followed that with a J.D. from Stetson University College of Law, awarded in 2000.

After law school Hudson established himself in Florida. He is admitted to practice in that state. Over the years he has worked both inside and outside of law firms, encountering a variety of matters that shaped how he approaches client problems. He kept a practical posture—straightforward, methodical, and attentive to the procedural details that can determine outcomes.

Hudson’s work history is a mixture of civil matters and routine transactional work. Early in his career he handled filings, negotiations and court appearances that gave him a firm grasp of state practice. As his caseload matured, he added strategy to his toolkit. He learned to weigh whether litigation or a negotiated resolution would better serve a client’s objectives. He has experience drafting pleadings, preparing motions, and assembling discovery, and he has represented clients at hearings and mediations.

Clients and opposing counsel describe him as steady in the courtroom and deliberate in preparation. He favors clear written work: concise motions, carefully documented correspondence, and briefs that highlight the key issues without excess. That style reflects his training and his belief that thorough preparation reduces surprises.

Outside of casework, Hudson has kept current on developments in Florida law. He follows appellate decisions and rule changes that affect practice at the trial level. He also values practical training—continuing legal education that focuses on procedural updates and effective advocacy skills.

Hudson now operates from Hudson Law. The firm handles matters governed by Florida law and assists clients in resolving disputes and advancing transactions. He balances courtroom work with negotiated settlements and emphasizes disciplined case management. He continues to practice in Florida, handling matters that arise under state law and advising clients on the procedural and substantive issues they face.
