About Debra
Debra Hauser built her academic foundation at the University of Texas at Dallas, earning both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts before turning to law. She completed her Juris Doctor at Texas Wesleyan University School of Law. The combination of liberal arts and graduate study preceded a professional turn into legal practice in Texas.
After law school, Hauser took the steps required for practice in Texas and is a licensed lawyer in the State Bar of Texas. That licensing established the formal beginning of her legal career and opened doors to both firm-side work and management roles. She has kept her professional activities rooted in the state where she trained and admitted to the bar.
In 2012 Hauser served as Managing Lawyer at Devadoss Law Office. In that role she handled the administrative responsibilities that come with running a small law practice while also attending to client matters. The position required balancing casework, client communication and office management. It also provided experience overseeing other attorneys and support staff.
