About Dean C
Dean C Ferraro built his career on steady progress through courtroom work and in-house litigation. He earned a B.A. in political science from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona in 1992 and completed his J.D. at The University of Mississippi School of Law in 1996. Those years set a foundation in both the theory and practice of law.
He moved into public service early in his legal career, joining the Hamilton County, Tennessee, District Lawyer’s Office as an assistant district lawyer in 1998. That role put him on the front lines of criminal prosecution and trial preparation. In 2003 he shifted to the private sector as an in-house litigation lawyer for Safeco Insurance, where he handled defense-side matters and learned how insurers evaluate and manage claims.
In 2005 Ferraro opened his own practice as the Law Office of Dean C. Ferraro and later took on leadership roles in firm management. He served as managing partner of Esquire Law Partners beginning in 2013 and, in 2016, became managing partner of Ferraro Law Office PLLC. Those positions combined casework with the administrative tasks of running a firm. Over time his practice work and his managerial duties moved in tandem.
Ferraro is admitted to practice in Tennessee, Colorado and California. His background crosses the public and private sectors, encompassing prosecution, defense and insurance-side litigation. Much of his work has involved courtroom litigation, motion practice and client counseling related to civil disputes and insurance matters. He brings practical courtroom experience to clients and colleagues, gained from years handling trials and contested hearings.
Colleagues and clients see a lawyer comfortable on both sides of the docket. He has navigated trial calendars, handled discovery disputes and argued motions in state and federal venues. His office also manages the business of running a small firm, from client intake through trial preparation. He currently practices through Ferraro Law Office PLLC. He concentrates his current practice on litigation, including insurance-related claims and civil disputes.
