About Daylene
Daylene Collette studied business before she studied law. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Sam Houston State University and later a Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law. Those two degrees shaped how she approaches legal problems: practical, detail-oriented and attentive to the financial side of a client’s situation.
After law school Collette entered private practice and developed a practice that includes alternative dispute resolution. She is a Certified Mediator in the State of Texas, a credential she uses in both courtroom-related settlements and standalone mediation matters. Collette’s mediation work often places her at the table with opposing counsel, clients and third-party neutrals to find workable resolutions.
Her professional affiliations include membership in the Montgomery County Bar Association. She maintains ties to the local bar community and participates in programs that serve lawyers and the public. Those connections inform how she manages cases and how she communicates procedural expectations to clients.
Collette established Collette Law, PLLC, to provide clients with a local option for legal help and mediation services. At the firm she handles intake, case strategy and dispute resolution efforts. Her business background plays a role in managing the practice and in counseling clients whose matters touch on financial or organizational issues.
Clients and other lawyers see her most often in contexts where negotiation matters as much as legal argument. She spends time preparing for mediation sessions, drafting settlement agreements and coordinating logistics that allow parties to engage productively. Her approach favors clear objectives and measured steps rather than theatrical courtroom moments.
Outside of casework she remains active in the Montgomery County legal scene. She keeps her mediator certification current and participates in opportunities that pertain to dispute resolution. Collette Law, PLLC continues to handle mediation services and related legal work in the region, operating as the base of her current practice focus.
