About Dawn
Dawn Gull earned her law degree from Duquesne University School of Law in 1996 after completing a Bachelor of Science at Evangel University in 1992. She entered the legal profession in the late 1990s and built a foundation in Pennsylvania law through formal education and early practice.
Her first notable position came in 2001 when she joined McCarthy, McDonald, Schulberg & Joy as an associate. Over the next several years she moved into greater responsibility at the same firm, becoming a partner in 2006. During that period she handled litigated matters and client counseling, managed case preparation and filings, and worked on negotiations and courtroom proceedings in state courts.
In 2016 she opened The Law Offices of Dawn K. Gull. As owner, she combined client work with the administrative duties of running a small firm. That role broadened her day-to-day responsibilities. She oversees case strategy, supervises support staff, and manages client intake while continuing to represent individuals and entities in matters brought in Pennsylvania.
Gull’s professional path shows a steady progression from associate to partner and then to firm owner. The trajectory reflects years of courtroom exposure, document drafting, and dispute resolution. She has experience steering cases from initial evaluation through trial preparation and settlement discussions. Colleagues and clients have relied on her for practical case management and clear communication about procedural steps and potential outcomes.
Licensed to practice in Pennsylvania, Gull maintains an active docket and stays engaged with procedural developments in state practice. She has continued legal education and participates in professional activities relevant to her work. Her background in both a multi-attorney firm and a solo practice gives her perspective on varied approaches to client representation and firm operations.
Gull’s current practice centers on representing clients in Pennsylvania courts and advising them through litigation and pre-litigation phases. She handles case evaluation, negotiation, and trial preparation while operating The Law Offices of Dawn K. Gull, where she manages both legal work and the business side of practice.
