About Davina

Davina Frederick began her professional life with a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Central Florida in 1987. She returned to school later and earned her J.D. from Barry University in 2003. Those two degrees frame a career built around clear communication and legal analysis.

After law school, Frederick became a member of The Florida Bar in 2007. She joined the Orange County Bar Association in 2014 and remains active in local bar circles. She is also a Florida Supreme Court certified family mediator, a credential that shapes part of her day-to-day practice.

Frederick moved into estate planning and mediation work and established herself at Frederick Law & Mediation of Florida, P.L. Her name is attached to a practice that combines traditional estate planning tasks with alternative dispute resolution services. Clients encounter a lawyer who can draft planning documents and step into mediation when disputes arise.

Her background in journalism is apparent in the way she approaches casework. She writes plainly and listens carefully. That combination helps when explaining complicated legal choices to clients who are planning for the future or dealing with family tensions.

Frederick’s approach blends document preparation and interpersonal process. She prepares wills, trusts and other planning tools, and she participates in mediation sessions that address family and estate disagreements. She holds the family mediator certification from the Florida Supreme Court, which enables her to work in court-referred and private mediation matters.

Within the legal community, Frederick maintains steady involvement. She has been part of The Florida Bar since 2007 and has kept ties to the Orange County Bar Association since 2014. Those memberships reflect a practice grounded in state law and local procedure.

Today Frederick continues to practice in Florida through Frederick Law & Mediation of Florida, P.L. Her work centers on estate planning and family mediation, helping clients prepare for the future and resolve disputes outside of prolonged litigation.
