About Davina
Davina DiPaolo built an academic foundation that spans international studies and the law. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Global Cultures from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. After college she pursued legal studies at the University of Minnesota Law School, where she received her J.D. in 2017. In 2019 she returned to academia as a visiting scholar at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, an experience that allowed her to engage with legal scholarship and teaching environments outside the courtroom.
After law school, DiPaolo entered practice in Illinois. She is admitted to the bar in that state and maintains membership in the State Bar of Illinois. Her early years in practice coincided with a period of steady development in litigation and client counseling. The references to her roles describe a lawyer familiar with courtroom procedure, legal research and drafting, and the practical demands of representing clients in contested matters.
DiPaolo joined Loftus & Eisenberg, Ltd as a lawyer. At that firm she became part of a team that handles complex civil legal issues. Her role has involved preparing pleadings, responding to discovery, and participating in pretrial strategy sessions. Colleagues note that she draws on her academic background when assessing cross-border or comparative legal questions, and she often contributes to the firm’s written legal analysis and case preparation.
Her combination of international studies and a U.S. law degree shapes how she approaches cases. The international perspective informs her understanding of fact patterns that include cultural and regulatory differences. The legal training at the University of Minnesota and the visiting scholar work at Northwestern added depth to her analytical approach. She integrates research and practical advocacy in her day-to-day work, shifting between detailed legal writing and advocacy before tribunals or opposing counsel.
Today DiPaolo practices out of Loftus & Eisenberg, Ltd in Illinois. She maintains an active membership in the State Bar of Illinois and continues to balance research, drafting, and courtroom responsibilities in her role at the firm. Her current practice centers on representing clients through litigation and related legal processes at Loftus & Eisenberg, Ltd.
