About David W

David W Gammill is the founding partner and a trial lawyer at Gammill Law. He studied business at Michigan State University, earning a B.A. in 2002, and later completed his legal studies at the University of Notre Dame, receiving a J.D. in 2008. He moved from academic study into a litigation career that has centered on courtroom practice and dispute resolution.

Early in his career Gammill gained experience in state and federal settings. He is admitted to practice in Utah and California and is also admitted to the Ninth Circuit. Those admissions shape the matters he accepts and the forums in which he appears. Over time he established Gammill Law and took on the role of founding partner, building a practice oriented toward trials and contested hearings.

Colleagues describe him as methodical in the courtroom and direct in approach. He prepares cases with an emphasis on the facts that will matter before a judge or jury. That preparation often means detailed witness work, careful evidence review and a readiness to try cases when settlement is not an option. He handles litigation from pleading through verdict and judgment.

Gammill’s practice involves managing the practical demands of trial work. He balances case strategy, discovery, motion practice and trial logistics. In doing so he navigates both state court systems and federal procedures in the Ninth Circuit. He has focused his professional life on representing clients in contested matters and on testing disputes through trial where appropriate.

Outside of the courtroom he has shaped firm procedures and mentored junior lawyers at Gammill Law. As a founding partner he oversees case selection and client communication and takes an active role in crafting trial plans. The firm reflects his emphasis on responsiveness and hands-on litigation management rather than large-firm delegation.

He continues to practice at Gammill Law, where he concentrates on trial work and litigation in the jurisdictions to which he is admitted.
