David Van Luu is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 2006. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Luu is the owner and principal attorney at Von Esch Law Group, a law firm located at 2201 E Chapman Ave, Fullerton, CA 92831. He has been practicing law for over 20 years, serving clients throughout Southern California, including the Santa Ana and Fullerton areas.
Mr. Luu earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of West Los Angeles School of Law, graduating in 2005. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at Pitzer College, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2001. During his time at Pitzer College, he developed a strong foundation in liberal arts, which has contributed to his analytical and problem-solving skills in his legal career.
Mr. Luu concentrates his practice in the areas of bankruptcy law, personal injury, business litigation, and real estate law. He represents clients in matters involving Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy filings, personal injury claims, business disputes, and real estate transactions. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout his career, Mr. Luu has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Orange, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an associate attorney at Von Esch Law Group, gaining experience in various areas of law and developing a comprehensive understanding of the legal landscape.
Mr. Luu is an active member of the Orange County Bar Association, where he participates in the Labor & Employment section. He is also a member of the California State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. In 2015 and 2016, he was recognized as a California Rising Star by Super Lawyers, an honor given to a select group of attorneys based on peer recognition and professional achievement. Mr. Luu is fluent in English, Cantonese, Mandarin, and Vietnamese, allowing him to serve a diverse clientele effectively.
