About David
A graduate of the University of Vermont in 1976, David Polow built a career rooted in the small-state culture of Vermont and later extended his professional ties to Colorado. He earned a B.A. in 1976 and began establishing connections in Vermont’s legal community in the early 1980s. Over time those connections expanded beyond state lines, reflecting shifts in his practice and professional affiliations.
Polow’s involvement in Vermont’s bar organizations dates back to 1981. That year marks his membership in both the Vermont Bar Association and the Lamoille County Bar Association. He became an active presence in local bar activities and kept an ongoing role in the state’s legal networks.
In 2006 he joined the board of the Vermont Association for Justice. Serving on that board placed him in a leadership circle that addresses professional standards, courtroom practice, and issues affecting trial lawyers in the state. His board role has continued through the present, anchoring him in discussions about access to justice and the professional obligations of litigators.
Around 2010 his practice footprint broadened to include Colorado. He holds memberships in the Colorado Bar Association and the Boulder County Bar Association, both beginning in 2010 and continuing to the current day. Those memberships reflect an expansion of his professional geography rather than a break with his Vermont roots. He has maintained ties to both regions and to the bar organizations that serve them.
Polow practices through a family firm, Polow & Polow, PLLC. That office has served as the vehicle for his client work and his interactions with other attorneys. His day-to-day work includes client counseling, courtroom appearances and collaboration with colleagues across the two jurisdictions in which he holds bar memberships.
Colleagues and court records show a professional who combines long-standing local involvement with an adaptable practice that spans state lines. He continues to be active in bar groups in Vermont and Colorado and remains engaged in the professional life of both regions. He maintains his law practice at Polow & Polow, PLLC, serving clients in Vermont and Colorado.
