David Meinhard is a counsel at Harwood Lloyd, LLC, a full-service law firm located in Hackensack, New Jersey. He has been a member of the New Jersey State Bar since 1983. At Harwood Lloyd, he focuses on health care law, including health care-related regulatory interpretation and guidance, as well as data privacy and security. Before joining Harwood Lloyd in 2017, Mr. Meinhard spent over 25 years at Quest Diagnostics Incorporated — He held various positions, including Corporate Counsel, Deputy General Counsel, and Data Privacy Officer.
In his role as Data Privacy Officer, he was responsible for overseeing, drafting. Updating data privacy and security policies and procedures, working closely with the Information Technology Department. Mr. Meinhard earned his Juris Doctor from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
He is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and the Bergen County Bar Association.
