About David Lloyd
David Lloyd Eisbrouch completed his legal education at the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, earning his J.D. in 1985 after attending Hofstra University for undergraduate studies. He entered the profession at a time when courtroom practice and civil litigation were evolving rapidly. His law school year remains a clear marker for the start of a steady legal career that spans several decades.
After finishing law school, Eisbrouch gained admission to practice in multiple jurisdictions. He is licensed in New Jersey, New York and the District of Columbia. He has been a member of the New Jersey State Bar since 1989 and joined the District of Columbia Bar in 1998. In 1999 he took a major step in his career by co-founding Balkin & Eisbrouch, LLC. That firm has been his professional home since its founding and he continues to serve in a leadership capacity there.
Outside of the firm, Eisbrouch maintains an active presence in professional organizations. He belongs to the American Bar Association and the American Association for Justice. He is also a member of regional trial lawyer groups in both New Jersey and New York and participates in the Leaders Forum.
