About David
David Bosland earned his Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of Law in 2014, after beginning his legal studies in 2011. He completed a traditional three-year law program and emerged into practice the same year he joined Washington’s legal community. His legal education in Seattle placed him at the center of a regional bar and court system that would shape his early career.
He has been active in the Washington bar since 2014 and maintains an active license in the state. Early in his practice he navigated the routines of client intake, motion practice and courtroom appearances. Those experiences helped him transition from a new lawyer into a practitioner comfortable in state court dockets and administrative settings.
Bosland’s professional home is Bosland Law, PLLC. He practices under that firm name and handles matters brought by clients in Washington. The firm provides a private-practice environment where he manages case strategy, client counseling and procedural obligations. He is the principal attorney at the office and oversees the day-to-day work that reaches the firm’s docket.
Colleagues and clients describe his work as pragmatic. He approaches problems by identifying actionable steps and setting clear expectations. In litigation, that can mean preparing a concise motion or mapping a trial timeline. In advising clients it can mean outlining statutory options or administrative processes. He aims to present practical pathways through sometimes complex state-law questions.
When cases require it, he takes matters through pleadings, discovery and hearings. He balances courtroom preparation against efforts to resolve disputes through negotiation. That approach reflects an effort to align legal strategy with a client’s objectives and the realities of Washington procedure.
Outside the office he keeps ties to the local legal community and observes changes in state law that affect his practice. He monitors court rulings and legislative developments that intersect with clients’ needs. He continues to handle matters arising under Washington law from his practice at Bosland Law, PLLC, where his current work is focused on advising and representing clients in state-based legal issues.
