About David
David Ballard is a Georgia-licensed attorney who built his legal career around the state courts and the federal appeals court that covers them. He trained at the University of Georgia, where he completed a sequence of degrees that prepared him for public service and trial work. He earned a Juris Doctor in 2011. He also holds a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in history and political science, both earned in 2007.
After law school, Ballard moved quickly into practice management. He became managing partner of Ballard Law Office, LLC in 2014 and has run the firm since then. The role has required him to split time between casework and administration. He oversees other attorneys and staff, handles client intake, and manages the firm’s calendar of hearings and filings.
