About David Alexander
David Alexander Alskog is a retired attorney who practiced law in Kirkland, Washington, for over four decades. He was admitted to the Washington State Bar in 1979. Throughout his career, he specialized in real estate, construction, and education law. He was a partner at Livengood, Fitzgerald & Alskog, PLLC, located at 121 Third Avenue, Kirkland, WA 98033.
David earned his Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 1979 and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington in 1973. He was recognized with an AV Preeminent rating by Martindale-Hubbell, reflecting the highest level of professional excellence. In 2021, after 42 years of legal practice, David retired. During his tenure, he advised school districts, hospital districts, and municipal entities on various issues, including open public meetings, public records, student discipline, and land use.
David was actively involved in professional and civic organizations. He was a member of the Washington State Bar Association, the Washington Council of School Attorneys, and the American Bar Association. He also served on the board of the Kirkland Performance Center and was legal counsel for the Lake Washington School Foundation. Throughout his career, David was committed to pro bono service, dedicating over 50 hours in 2005 to assist those in need.
David passed away in 2021.
