About David A.
David A. Kadzai built his foundation at the University of Illinois. He earned an A.B. in economics from the Urbana-Champaign campus in 2004 and returned to the same university for law school, receiving his J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2009. Those years shaped his legal training and tied him to a network of alumni that he maintains today.
He was admitted to practice in Illinois and went on to start his own firm. In 2012 he opened Kadzai Law Group, LLC, where he serves as owner and lawyer. The decision to form a small firm allowed him to control case strategy and client contact. It also put him directly into the daily work of litigation and client advocacy.
Kadzai’s professional memberships reflect a focus on courtroom practice and bar involvement. He holds membership in the National Trial Lawyers Association and belongs to the Federal Bar for the Northern District of Illinois. He is also active in the Chicago Bar Association, the Cook County Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Those affiliations keep him engaged with peers, continuing legal education and developments at both the state and federal level.
He is also connected to his alma mater through the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Alumni Association.
