About Daviana Marie
Daviana Marie Braniff graduated from The University of Georgia School of Law in 2015. She completed her J.D. that year and moved quickly into public service. Her legal education included practical clinic experience and internships that shaped the early steps of her career.
She began work in prosecutorial settings while still in law school. In 2014 she served as a summer intern and as a prosecutorial clinic intern in the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office. That experience preceded a 2015 role as an Assistant State Lawyer in the Office of the State Lawyer for Pinellas County, Florida. She also spent time as a summer associate at Sanderson Law, P.C. in 2013, gaining experience in a private practice environment.
Those roles left her comfortable in courtroom settings. Her background is rooted in trial preparation, case evaluation and the daily demands of a busy prosecutor’s office. She has handled intake, witness interviews and motion practice during the early stages of her career. Colleagues describe her approach as methodical. She combines attention to detail with a willingness to stand in court when cases require it.
Braniff’s path has been steady rather than flashy. She moved from internships to a government prosecutorial post, then into private practice. That arc gave her a broad view of how cases evolve from investigation to resolution. It also exposed her to both the procedural side of litigation and the interpersonal work of working with victims, witnesses and fellow attorneys.
She is currently based at Carlson, Meissner, Hayslett P.A. There she applies the courtroom and case-management skills she developed earlier in her career. Her current practice centers on litigation and courtroom work handled through that firm.
