About Daven
Daven Cameron attended the UNLV William S. Boyd School of Law before beginning his legal career in Nevada. He built his practice on a foundation of courtroom training and classroom study. Law school shaped how he approaches problems: methodically, with attention to detail and an eye for practical outcomes.
He is admitted to practice in Nevada and is based in the state. Over the years he has worked through the typical motions, hearings and filings that form the backbone of day-to-day practice. That experience converged at Cameron Law, where he now practices and manages client matters. His work at the firm reflects the practical demands of representing clients in state courts and administrative settings.
Cameron’s legal work spans case preparation, motion practice and client advising. He handles fact development, legal research and court appearances, and he spends significant time preparing written arguments and evidence. He also negotiates on behalf of clients when settlements serve their objectives. His approach aims to clarify legal options and to set realistic expectations.
He maintains current memberships in professional associations. Those memberships keep him plugged into continuing legal education and updates to Nevada law. He attends seminars and participates in programs that address changes in procedure and substantive law. That routine helps him keep strategies grounded in current practice.
Colleagues describe him as steady in court and thorough in preparation. He tends to prefer a clear, pragmatic style in interactions with clients, focusing on what needs to be done rather than on layered rhetoric. That directness informs how he explains risks and timelines to people who are often encountering the legal system for the first time.
Outside the courtroom he manages the administrative needs of his practice at Cameron Law. He supervises case flow, client intake and the drafting of pleadings. The office handles matters across Nevada, balancing contested litigation with efforts to resolve disputes short of trial.
He currently practices at Cameron Law, representing clients in Nevada.
