About Darrin T.
Darrin T. Mish built a legal career that moves between courtrooms and tax offices. He earned his Juris Doctor from Golden Gate University School of Law in 1990 after completing undergraduate studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1988. Those years set the foundation for a practice that would span criminal defense and tax law.
Early on he worked in the public sector. In 1994 he served as an Assistant Public Defender in the 13th Judicial Circuit. That role put him on the front lines of criminal defense work. A few years later he moved into private practice and tax work. In 1996 he became President of the Law Offices of Darrin T. Mish, P.A., listed as a tax lawyer. His professional licenses extend across state lines. He is admitted to practice in Florida, Texas and Colorado. That multi-jurisdictional standing has allowed him to take on matters that touch more than one state system. Over time he has balanced representation in criminal matters with counsel in tax-related issues, advising clients on compliance questions, audits and dispute resolution when those matters arise.
Colleagues and clients see someone comfortable in more than one legal environment. He has experience in courtroom settings and in interactions with taxing authorities. He has managed cases that require both litigation skills and an ability to parse complex tax rules. At the same time he has maintained a private practice, overseeing the operation of his firm and the professional services it provides.
He continues to operate the Law Offices of Darrin T. Mish, P.A., managing a practice that includes tax law and criminal defense work. He currently practices at the Law Offices of Darrin T. Mish, P.A., where he represents clients in tax and criminal-defense matters.
