About Darla Elizabeth
Darla Elizabeth Kaikis is a workers' compensation attorney based in Columbus, Ohio. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Allied Health Professions from The Ohio State University in 1987. After working in the healthcare field for approximately ten years, including roles in the emergency departments at Ohio State University and Riverside Methodist Hospitals, she pursued a law degree at Capital University Law School, graduating in 1992.
In 1994, Darla joined Larrimer & Larrimer, LLC, where she primarily represents injured workers in northwest Ohio. She attends hearings in both the Lima and Toledo Industrial Commission offices, handling cases across numerous counties, including Williams, Fulton, Paulding, Auglaize, Wood, Henry, Hardin, Defiance, Hancock, Van Wert, Putnam, Allen, and Mercer. Before her tenure at Larrimer & Larrimer, Darla worked at Cantlon & Associates from 1992 to 1994, representing employers in workers' compensation matters.
Her unique medical background, combined with her legal training, provides her with a knowledge of complex medical issues related to workplace accidents and occupational exposures. Darla is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Columbus Bar Association. She is also a member of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists.
