About Darius Mark

Darius Mark Amiri built his legal foundation in two different regions of the United States. He earned a B.A. in Political Science–International Relations from the University of California, San Diego in 2005. He then completed a J.D. at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University in 2010.

His early career moved quickly into immigration law. In 2011 he joined Alcock and Associates as Managing Immigration Lawyer, a role that put him at the center of case management and client intake for complex matters. He later became a partner at Victory Law Group LLP in 2016, where he handled litigation and administrative proceedings. In 2018 he founded Amiri Law Offices PLLC and took on the responsibilities of managing lawyer and firm founder.

Amiri is licensed to practice in Arizona and is admitted to the Ninth Circuit. His case work has been concentrated on immigration matters, and his career has combined courtroom work, administrative advocacy and client counseling. Colleagues describe him as pragmatic; he tends to break problems into clear steps and set expectations early in a case. That approach shaped his handling of appeals and administrative filings at the federal level.

His involvement in the professional bar has been sustained. He served as Vice Chair of the State Bar of Arizona’s Immigration Section from 2019 to 2020 and has been Chair of that same section since 2020. Since 2011 he has also served as a media liaison for professional matters, speaking on procedural issues and case developments to a range of audiences. Those roles put him in frequent contact with regulators, fellow practitioners and journalists.

Amiri’s practice blends individual representation and institutional matters. He works on removal defense, appeals in the Ninth Circuit and administrative petitions before federal and state agencies. He also handles counsel work for employers navigating sponsorship and compliance questions. He keeps client communication central to his practice and aims to provide straightforward assessments of risk and timing.

He maintains a private practice through Amiri Law Offices PLLC and has maintained professional ties to larger firms and legal offices over the years. He continues to represent clients in Arizona and before the Ninth Circuit, concentrating on immigration law in both trial and appellate settings.
