About Darin

Darin Wisehart is an Oregon attorney who has practiced in state courts and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He trained in political science and law and has spent the bulk of his legal career working in private practice in the Pacific Northwest.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Arizona State University in 2000 and completed his Juris Doctor at Lewis & Clark Law School in 2007. Those academic credentials formed the foundation for a practice that moved quickly from associate work into firm leadership.

After law school, Wisehart joined a private firm where he became a partner in 2009 at Braunstein Wisehart LLC. That partnership period encompassed litigation and client representation across multiple forums. In 2012 he opened his own office as managing lawyer of Wisehart Law, pc, where he continues to operate today. The shift to his own firm allowed him to shape how cases are handled and how the office serves clients.

Wisehart holds admission to the Oregon bar and is authorized to appear in the Ninth Circuit. He maintains membership in the American Bar Association and holds other professional affiliations. Over the years his work has involved appearances in trial courts and filings at the appellate level, reflecting a practice that covers both fact-finding forums and appellate review.

Colleagues and clients have encountered him in courtroom settings and in negotiations outside court. His role as managing lawyer involves overseeing the firm’s operations and guiding case strategy. He has worked on matters that require familiarity with Oregon procedural rules as well as federal appellate procedure in the Ninth Circuit.

Outside of the courtroom, Wisehart’s background in political science informs his approach to legal issues that intersect with public policy and administrative processes. He remains active in professional circles and in continuing legal education opportunities relevant to his practice.

He currently operates Wisehart Law, pc in Oregon and represents clients in state courts and in appeals before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. His current practice focuses on representation in Oregon courts and appellate work in the Ninth Circuit.
