About Dante
Dante Weston earned his undergraduate degree from Brown University in 2002 and completed his law degree at Stetson University College of Law in 2006. His time at Stetson shaped his approach to courtroom practice and trial preparation. The combination of a liberal arts background and a law degree provided a base for litigation work that followed.
Shortly after law school, Weston began practicing at Donaldson & Weston. He built his practice at the firm and remains there. Over the years he has developed experience handling matters in Florida state courts and in federal court, where he is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. That dual admission influences how he prepares cases and selects litigation strategies.
Weston’s professional life is anchored by regular involvement in bar and trial associations. He is a member of The Florida Bar, the Palm Beach County Bar Association and the Palm Beach County Justice Association. He also belongs to the Florida Justice Association, the National Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and the American Bar Association. Those memberships keep him plugged into continuing legal education and peer review, and they provide a forum for trial practitioners to discuss tactics and evolving case law.
Much of Weston’s courtroom work involves personal injury litigation. He handles claims that require negotiations, pretrial motion work and, when necessary, trial. He is comfortable arguing procedural and evidentiary issues, and he spends considerable time preparing witnesses and drafting motions. Case preparation at his firm tends to include detailed factual development, depositions and assessing potential expert testimony.
Colleagues describe him as methodical in trial preparation and steady under pressure. In client meetings he focuses on clear explanations of the process and realistic assessments of outcomes. That style can be helpful when cases involve complex medical records or conflicting accounts of events.
Outside the courtroom, Weston participates in local bar activities and attends seminars offered by the statewide and national organizations to which he belongs. He keeps current on litigation practice and state court developments through those channels. He continues to take cases in both state and federal forums, applying the same litigation techniques across jurisdictions.
He currently practices at Donaldson & Weston, handling personal injury matters in Florida courts and in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
