About Danny Dustin
Danny Dustin Russell studied political science at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, earning a B.A. in 2007. He moved on to Loyola University New Orleans College of Law and received his J.D. in 2014. Those academic years shaped his early interest in courtroom work and the mechanics of civil litigation.
After law school, Russell entered private practice. He joined the Law Offices of Frank D. Amico Jr. in 2015 as an associate attorney. A year later he shifted into an of-counsel role at the same firm while establishing his own practice. In 2016 he formed Russell Law Office, LLC and began serving as its owner and principal lawyer. The move created space for him to manage his own caseload and to take on matters in state and federal courts.
Russell is admitted to practice in Louisiana and holds admission in federal appellate courts, including the Fifth Circuit and the Federal Circuit. Those admissions allow him to represent clients at trial level and on appeal. He has maintained active memberships in statewide and national trial lawyer organizations since the mid-2010s, joining the Louisiana Association for Justice in 2015 and the American Association for Justice in 2016. Those affiliations keep him plugged into developments that affect civil litigation and trial practice.
