About Danielle M

Danielle M Janacek earned her law degree from Campbell Law School in 2022 after completing a liberal arts undergraduate program at Augustana College. Her path through college and law school combined studies in communication, politics and the law. She moved steadily from theory to practice, finishing her formal legal education and entering the bar shortly thereafter.

Her undergraduate work at Augustana College resulted in a B.A. in 2019 with majors in Communication Studies and Political Science and a minor in Women and Gender Studies. Those fields shaped how she approaches legal problems. At Campbell Law School she completed a three-year J.D. program and left with classroom experience across civil procedure, advocacy and legal research.

Janacek is licensed to practice in Illinois and Iowa and holds memberships in multiple professional organizations. She has been a member of the Illinois State Bar Association since 2023 and the Iowa State Bar Association since 2023. In 2024 she joined the American Association of University Women. Those memberships reflect an interest in professional engagement and staying current with developments in both jurisdictions where she practices.

After law school, Janacek joined Newton Law PLC. At the firm she works on matters that arise in Illinois and Iowa state courts. Her responsibilities include advising clients, preparing filings and appearing where state rules require local counsel. Colleagues describe her as methodical in her preparation and steady when presenting arguments, relying on clear written work and direct client communication.

Her undergraduate background in communication and political science informs her courtroom and office habits. She aims to explain legal issues in plain language and to connect statutory text to practical consequences for clients. She is attentive to the procedural mechanics that shape case timelines, and she approaches discovery and drafting with an eye for precision.

Janacek maintains an active presence in the two state bars that license her and participates in bar activities as a way to monitor changes in practice and procedure. She currently practices at Newton Law PLC and represents clients in matters arising in Illinois and Iowa.
