About Danielle

Danielle Davis earned her law degree from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2011 after completing a bachelor’s degree in anthropology at the University of Tennessee in 2009. Her academic background combined coursework in social science and legal training, a pair of perspectives that inform how she approaches client matters and courtroom work.

She began her legal career in Oklahoma and moved through several associate roles in the region. In 2014 she joined Smolen, Smolen & Roytman, PLLC as an associate lawyer. The following year she took a position at The Law Offices of Brenda L. Storey, P.C. and in 2017 advanced to a senior associate role at The Burnham Law Office, P.C. Those years provided steady litigation experience and repeated opportunities to participate in contested hearings and trial preparation.

Davis is admitted to practice in Oklahoma and Colorado, and she is also admitted to the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. She earned a Family Law Trial Advocacy certification from the National Institute for Trial Advocacy, an indication of formal training in courtroom advocacy and evidentiary practice. Her professional memberships include the Colorado Bar Association’s Family Law Section, the Colorado Bar Association more broadly, the Denver Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.

Her practice has involved family law matters across a range of dispute types. She has handled contested hearings and contested matters that require both negotiation and courtroom readiness. The NITA certification and her work history suggest a measure of regular trial involvement, and colleagues have described her as methodical in preparation and attentive to procedural detail.

Outside of firm practice Davis has maintained ties to legal education and community organizations. She has served on the Central Tech Criminal Justice Advisory Board since 2011, a role that places her in dialogue with educators and local justice stakeholders. Her continued memberships in local and national bar groups reflect ongoing engagement with developments in family law and trial procedure.

Clients and peers see her as a lawyer comfortable in both settlement discussions and contested proceedings. She is active in both Colorado and Oklahoma bar communities and practices before the Tenth Circuit. Her current practice focuses on family law and trial advocacy.
