About Danielle Caroline

Danielle Caroline Wild built a career that moves between courtroom work and classroom teaching. She earned a B.A. in psychology from Roberts Wesleyan College in 2010 and completed her J.D. at Syracuse University College of Law in 2015. Those years set the stage for steady advancement in litigation and defense work.

Fresh out of law school she joined Easton Thompson Kasperek Shiffrin LLP as an associate in 2015. The firm role gave her early exposure to courtroom procedure, motion practice and client counseling. In 2017 she opened her own practice, operating as Danielle C. Wild, Lawyer at Law. Running a solo practice expanded her responsibilities. She handled filings, client intake, trials and appeals, and learned the business side of law alongside case work.

In 2021 she took on an of counsel role at Kaman Berlove Marafioti Jacobstein & Goldman, LLP. That position allowed her to collaborate on cases while maintaining her own practice. The next year she returned to Syracuse University College of Law as an adjunct professor. In that classroom she brings practical experience to students, linking doctrinal instruction to real-world litigation.

Wild is admitted to practice in New York and in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Her professional memberships reflect her practice interests. She holds memberships in the New York State Defenders Association and the New York State Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. She has also been active in local bar groups, including the Monroe County Bar Association, where she serves on the Board of Trustees, and the Greater Rochester Association for Women Lawyers. Those affiliations keep her connected to peers and to developments in criminal practice.

Colleagues describe her work as methodical and direct. She prepares for hearings carefully and places priority on client communication. In court she pursues procedural remedies and advocates for mitigation when appropriate. She also handles appellate briefing in the Second Circuit, where she represents clients on issues that have already survived trial-level adjudication.

Her background in psychology informs how she approaches clients and witnesses. It shapes how she evaluates credibility, prepares witnesses and frames testimony for jurors. That perspective complements her litigation toolkit.

She maintains her practice under the name Danielle C. Wild, Lawyer at Law. She continues to try cases at the trial level and to handle appeals in state and federal court, focusing her work on criminal defense and appellate matters.
