About Daniela Cristina
Daniela Cristina Alvarado earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Rollins College in 2015 and a Juris Doctor from the University of Florida in 2019. She moved from undergraduate study into law school without delay, completing her legal education at a state law school known for its broad curriculum. Those years shaped her understanding of immigration and cross-border issues and set the stage for a practical legal career.
Her first legal role came while she was still an undergraduate. In 2015 she worked as a legal intern at NeJame Law. The internship exposed her to client intake, case preparation, and courtroom filings. She returned to hands-on legal work during law school, taking on law clerk positions at Cole, Scott & Kissane, PA in 2017 and again in 2018. Those clerkships introduced her to firm practice and courtroom procedures and offered early experience on a steady docket of cases.
After earning her J.D., Alvarado remained at Cole, Scott & Kissane, joining the firm as an associate in 2019. She spent that first post-graduate year building litigation and client-service skills. In 2020 she joined Vazquez & Poudat, PLLC as an associate. At each step she took on more responsibility for case management, client counseling, and preparing pleadings. Her path reflects a common progression from internship to clerkship and then to associate-level practice.
She is a member of The Florida Bar, admitted in 2019, and holds an active license. Since 2020 she has been a member of the Central Florida Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. That association places her among peers who handle family-based petitions, removal defense, naturalization matters, and other immigration-related work in the state. Her bar membership and professional association participation keep her connected to continuing legal education and procedural developments in Florida courts and immigration adjudications.
Colleagues describe her approach as methodical. She breaks complex cases into manageable steps and keeps clients informed through regular updates. Court appearances, paperwork deadlines, and client interviews occupy much of her weekly schedule. Her file work includes drafting administrative submissions and preparing clients for hearings.
Alvarado lives and practices in Florida. She currently concentrates her practice at Vazquez & Poudat, PLLC on immigration matters and related issues in the state.
