Daniel Witte is a attorney based in South Jordan, Utah, specializing in business law. He earned his Juris Doctor from Brigham Young University (BYU) in 1998, where he graduated magna cum laude. During his time at BYU, he was actively involved in the Law Review, Moot Court, and served on the Moot Court Board of Advocates. Additionally, he received the BYU Student Legal Scholarly Paper Awards for the 1996-1997 academic year. Prior to his law degree, Witte completed a Bachelor of Science in Resource Management, with minors in Business Management and Recreation, also from BYU, graduating magna cum laude in 1992. He furthered his education with a Master of Organizational Behavior from BYU's Marriott School of Business in 1998. In June 2014, Witte became an equity partner at Pearson, Butler & Carson, PLLC, where he chairs the firm's litigation department.

His legal experience also includes serving as an assistant general counsel at Beneficial Life Insurance from 2002 to 2009 and as an associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, LLP from 2000 to 2002. Additionally, he clerked for the Honorable Alan Norris of the U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals from 1999 to 2000. Witte is admitted to practice law in Utah and California, as well as in the U.S.
District Courts for both states. He is also admitted to the U.S. Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court. His professional affiliations include the Utah State Bar Association and the California State Bar Association. He has lectured widely and authored several law review articles on topics such as parental rights, education, and institutional reform. Notably, he contributed to "The Pre-K Debates," a 2011 book edited and sponsored by faculty at Yale University.
Authored the lead article for the fiftieth issue of the American Bar Association’s premier law review, titled "Managing Irresponsible Actors In Federal Interpleader Actions." He has participated in litigation before various local, state, and federal courts, primarily in California, Utah, and nearby western states. In his personal life, Witte was the youngest graduate of BYU in his graduating baccalaureate class at the age of 19. He completed the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation in 2009 and the Certified Life Underwriter (CLU) designation in 2008, both of which are currently on inactive status.
