About Daniel

Daniel Wayne is a California-based lawyer who built his path through two established academic programs. He earned a J.D. from the University of Oregon School of Law in 2011 after completing undergraduate studies at Whitman College, where he received a B.A. in English in 2005. Those years shaped his legal thinking and gave him a foundation in both analysis and communication.

After law school, Wayne began practicing in California. He is licensed to practice in the state and has been active in the San Francisco legal community. Over time he joined professional groups that connect trial attorneys and local practitioners. He holds memberships in the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association and the San Francisco Bar Association, where he takes part in programs and events that bring lawyers together to discuss practice and procedure.

Colleagues describe him as steady in the courtroom and deliberate in written advocacy. His work shows an attention to detail and a straightforward style. He has handled matters that require courtroom presence as well as those that need careful written motions and client counseling. He approaches each file as a discrete problem to be solved rather than as an opportunity for broad statements.

Wayne’s approach to cases is practical. He prepares cases to be presented to judges and juries, but he also prepares them so clients can understand their options. He pays attention to the procedural side of litigation. That includes drafting pleadings, developing evidentiary strategies, and calendaring key deadlines. His training in English informs how he writes briefs and addresses the court.

At the firm level, he practices at Wolford Wayne. His role there places him in the middle of San Francisco’s trial community. Memberships in local bar groups keep him connected to peers and to developments in court rules and litigation practice. He participates in discussions on trial strategy and courtroom process, and he maintains professional ties that help coordinate litigation efforts when cases overlap with other practices.

Outside the office, he continues to follow developments in civil procedure and trial practice. He attends continuing legal education and local bar programs that focus on practical litigation skills. He currently practices at Wolford Wayne in California, handling litigation matters.
