Daniel Timothy LeBel is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 2006. His license is currently in active status. Mr. LeBel is the owner of the Consumer Law Practice of Daniel T. LeBel, a law firm located in San Francisco, California. He has been practicing law for over 19 years, serving clients throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and surrounding regions.
Mr. LeBel earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco, where he graduated in 2006 with a concentration in Civil Litigation. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at the University of California, Berkeley, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1999. During his time at UC Hastings, he received Witkin and CALI Awards, recognizing his academic excellence in civil litigation.
Mr. LeBel concentrates his practice in the areas of consumer law, civil litigation, and class action/mass torts. He represents individuals and small business owners in matters involving unfair business practices, false advertising, auto, RV, and motorcycle sales fraud, defective products and warranty law ("Lemon Law"), consumer banking and credit issues, unfair debt collections, and consumer class actions. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout his career, Mr. LeBel has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of San Francisco, the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding his own firm in 2010, he worked as an associate attorney at a consumer law firm in San Francisco for several years.
Mr. LeBel is an active member of the National Association of Consumer Attorneys. He is also a member of the California State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of the San Francisco Bay Area effectively.
