About Daniel

Daniel Rosenthal took a deliberate path to law. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers University–Camden in 2007 and returned to the same campus for his J.D., which he received from Rutgers School of Law–Camden in 2010. Those years in Camden shaped his early view of practice and the role attorneys play in their communities.

After law school he moved into practice rather than academia. He built his day-to-day work around client matters and courtroom procedure. Over time he became part of Petro Cohen, P.C., where he has worked from offices that serve a regional client base. Colleagues describe him as steady in court and methodical in preparation. He handles the responsibilities that come with litigation and transactional work alike.

He maintains active memberships in professional associations. Those connections keep him plugged into the laws and regulations that affect his clients. He also participates in firm matters that require coordination across offices, relying on practical problem solving rather than headline-grabbing tactics.

Rosenthal’s approach is practical. He breaks down complex legal questions into parts that judges, opposing counsel and clients can follow. He writes motions and briefs that aim for clarity. He prepares witnesses and lays groundwork before trials. His files show an emphasis on careful planning and attention to procedure.

Outside the courtroom he spends time mentoring newer lawyers at the firm and contributing to internal training sessions. He is involved in day-to-day strategy meetings and often takes responsibility for moving cases forward on schedule. Clients and co-counsel note his punctuality and diligence when deadlines loom.

His professional life remains centered at Petro Cohen, P.C., where he works across multiple office locations. He is a Rutgers alumnus who continues to draw on the legal and regional networks established during his education. He currently practices at Petro Cohen, P.C., where his work focuses on serving the firm’s clients.
