About Daniel Richard
Daniel Richard Antonelli earned his law degree from California Western School of Law before establishing his practice in New York. He moved from law school into private practice and built a career that has centered on estate and fiduciary matters. Over time he took on roles that connect courtroom procedures and the management of decedents' estates.
He became a partner at Antonelli & Antonelli, Lawyers at Law in 2007. That step formalized a practice that handles probate, estate administration and related surrogates court work. His partnership at the firm has involved courtroom appearances, estate accounting and oversight of executors and administrators appointed by the court.
Antonelli is registered with the New York State Surrogate's Court as a court-appointed fiduciary. That registration places him among professionals approved to serve in fiduciary roles when the court requires an external fiduciary to manage an estate. He maintains active memberships in several bar groups in New York, including the New York State Bar Association, the New York County Bar Association and multiple county bar associations across the city: Brooklyn, Queens, Richmond and the Bronx.
Beyond bar membership, Antonelli has volunteered with the Brooklyn Bar Association Volunteer Lawyers Project. He also co-founded Project Restore, an initiative that reflects his engagement with community- and client-centered services related to estate and fiduciary issues. Those activities supplement his day-to-day practice and connect him with both legal colleagues and clients who need court-oriented estate services.
Colleagues and court staff that have worked with him describe a practice shaped by the technical demands of probate procedure and the administrative duties of fiduciary oversight. He has handled matters that require liaison with executors, beneficiaries and the Surrogate's Court. His practice requires attention to accounting, statutory deadlines and the procedural rules that govern estate administration in New York.
Antonelli's professional life remains anchored at Antonelli & Antonelli, Lawyers at Law. He works in New York and routinely appears before the Surrogate's Court in matters that call for appointed fiduciaries, estate administrations and probate proceedings. He currently practices at Antonelli & Antonelli, Lawyers at Law, handling estate administration, probate and court-appointed fiduciary matters.
