About Daniel
Daniel Radford earned his law degree from The University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, completing his J.D. in 2015 after beginning law studies in 2012. He concentrated his coursework on personal injury law while at the college. Those formative years shaped a practice that would quickly orient toward civil claims and injury litigation.
He entered practice in Utah and became licensed through the Utah State Bar. He is also admitted to practice before the Utah Supreme Court and the United States District Court for the District of Utah. He joined the Southern Utah legal community soon after graduation and has maintained active ties to regional bar groups ever since.
Radford became a partner at Truman & Radford - Injury Lawyers in 2016. That early partnership suggests a rapid move into leadership within the firm. His day-to-day work involves handling claims on behalf of people who have suffered physical injuries, negotiating settlements and taking cases to trial when necessary. He handles the procedural demands of federal and state filings and courtroom practice in Utah.
Outside litigation, Radford has been active in local legal organizations. He has been a member of the Southern Utah Bar Association since 2015 and serves on the Dixie State University Alumni Board, a role he has held since 2017. He maintains membership in the Utah State Bar and participates in community and professional events tied to those organizations. Those roles keep him engaged with both the legal profession and the broader public institutions in southern Utah.
Colleagues describe him as practical in the courtroom and methodical in case preparation. His practice requires juggling medical records, expert testimony and complex negotiations. He spends much of his time managing discovery, preparing depositions and advising clients on settlement options versus trial. The work is detail-oriented and often moves at a brisk pace when statutes of limitations or urgent medical needs are involved.
Radford’s licensing across state and federal forums underpins the litigation component of his work. He is based at Truman & Radford - Injury Lawyers, where he practices as a partner and handles personal injury matters across Utah. His current practice focuses on representing individuals injured in accidents and related civil claims.
