About Daniel R.
Daniel R. Flaherty trained first as an entrepreneur. He earned a B.A. in Entrepreneurship from the University of Saint Thomas after studies from 1998 to 2002. He then turned to law, attending William Mitchell College of Law from 2003 and completing his J.D. in 2006. Those years set a course that moved him from classroom debates to courtroom procedure.
Flaherty entered practice in 2007 as an associate at Thomas L. Burdelik & Associates. He spent the next several years in associate roles, joining Best, Vanderlaan & Harrington in 2009. In 2010 he moved to the Law Office of Daniel E. Goodman, LLC and carried the title of lawyer there. In 2015 he established Flaherty Law, LLC and has served as its managing lawyer since then. The timeline shows a steady progression from associate work to running his own practice.
Alongside his practice, Flaherty holds memberships in several local and state bar groups. He is a current member of the Illinois State Bar Association and participates in county-level organizations, including the Will County, DuPage County and Cook County bar associations. Those affiliations give him regular contact with peers and the local legal community.
He is admitted to practice in Illinois and is authorized to appear before the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. That admission means he can handle filings at the federal appellate level as well as in state court. Over the course of his career he has handled matters at both associate and lead counsel levels, and he has navigated procedural and appellate filings that arise from that work.
Today Flaherty runs FLAHERTY LAW, LLC from its Illinois office. His practice involves representing clients in Illinois state courts and preparing filings for the Seventh Circuit when cases require federal appellate attention. He continues to maintain memberships in multiple county and state bar associations as part of his day-to-day practice and professional network.
He currently operates Flaherty Law, LLC, handling matters in Illinois state courts and filings before the Seventh Circuit.
