About Daniel K

Daniel K Marvin took a circuitous route into law. He studied business at the University of Southern California and earned a B.S. in Business Administration in 1993. Years in the private sector followed before he returned to formal study and completed a J.D. at Northwestern California University School of Law in 2016.

That combination of business training and a later law degree shapes how he approaches client matters. The early background in business gave him a practical sense for financial and organizational issues. The legal education that came later supplied the technical tools that he uses now when advising individuals and families.

His career has included time at Graham & Associates and the Law Offices of Sherwood & Marvin. Those offices placed him in practice in California and introduced him to the kinds of courtroom, transactional and administrative work that local clients often need. Since 2017 he has been active in local professional circles, holding membership in the Tulare County Bar Association and in the Tulare-Kings County Estate Planning Council.

Membership in the estate planning council signals an ongoing interest in estates and trusts work. Marvin's practice addresses estate planning, trust administration and probate matters. He also advises on issues that touch both corporate and personal finances, a bridge that his business degree helps him cross. He handles client meetings, drafts estate plans and guiding documents, and appears in probate proceedings when that becomes necessary.

Colleagues describe him as practical and straightforward in meetings. He tends to break complex legal and financial questions into concrete steps that clients can discuss and act on. That consistency has made him a regular presence in Tulare County legal circles since his bar membership and council involvement began.

Outside formal memberships, Marvin has sought work that keeps him tied to the communities he serves. That has meant regular participation in county bar events and estate planning gatherings. His work is local in scope but touches issues that affect families and small businesses across the region.

He practices law in California and has worked at both Graham & Associates and the Law Offices of Sherwood & Marvin. He currently maintains a practice that concentrates on estate planning, trust administration, probate and related business matters.
