About Daniel Joseph

Daniel Joseph Wilson built his legal foundation in Southern California. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business and Psychology from the University of California, Merced in 2009. He then went on to the University of San Diego School of Law, where he completed his J.D. in 2012 and an LL.M. in Taxation the same year.

After finishing his graduate studies, Wilson began his professional career at Robinson & Wilson, APC in 2012. He has remained in the same professional circle since then, joining Robinson and Wilson, ALC, where he practices today. His work has kept him squarely tied to California courts and regulatory systems.

Wilson’s LL.M. in Taxation informs much of his practice. The advanced tax training complements his certification as a Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust Law, and Probate from the State Bar of California. He frequently deals with the overlap between tax rules and the transfer of family wealth. That combination gives him a steady pipeline of matters that touch trusts, wills, probate administration, and the tax consequences that follow.

His undergraduate studies in business and psychology add another dimension. The business background helps with client conversations about asset protection and succession planning. The psychology training helps when those conversations get difficult. Colleagues describe him as methodical and pragmatic in approaching complex client problems. He also maintains memberships in professional associations relevant to estate and trust practice.

Over the years his caseload has included estate plan drafting, trust administration, contested probate matters and tax questions tied to estates and gifts. He approaches each file by mapping legal obligations and practical options for clients. He has a measured courtroom presence when matters require litigation, and he spends much of his time counseling clients on avoiding court where possible.

He currently practices at Robinson and Wilson, ALC, where he handles estate planning, trust and probate matters and related tax issues.
