About Daniel J.

Daniel J. Reed trained at UNLV William S. Boyd School of Law, completing his J.D. in 2004. He arrived at law school after undergraduate study and entered practice in the mid-2000s. Those early years set the tone for a steady career in private practice. He moved into firm work right after graduation and built a resume of associate positions that would lead to partnership within a decade.

He began his post-law school career as an associate at Aminpour & Associates in 2005. That role introduced him to the day-to-day demands of client work and firm practice. In 2008 he accepted an associate position at Wolfenzon Rolle, where he continued to develop practical litigation and client management skills. The move reflected a common path for lawyers seeking broader exposure to different case types and firm structures.

In 2013 Reed became a partner at Reed & Mansfield. The promotion marked a shift in responsibilities. He moved from supporting roles toward handling larger matters and participating in firm leadership. As partner he has overseen cases and worked with clients across multiple states. The partnership also meant taking on business development and supervisory tasks that come with running a firm and training junior lawyers.

Reed is admitted to practice in Nevada, California and Arizona, and he is admitted to appear before the Ninth Circuit. Those admissions allow him to take cases that cross state lines and to appear in federal appellate proceedings when matters require it. Holding licenses in multiple jurisdictions has shaped the kinds of matters his office accepts and the strategies the firm employs when cases touch more than one forum.

Over more than two decades since earning his law degree, Reed has maintained a private practice focused on serving clients across the jurisdictions where he is licensed. He remains based at Reed & Mansfield and directs the firm’s work in matters that arise in California, Arizona, Nevada and before the Ninth Circuit. He currently practices at Reed & Mansfield, representing clients in matters across those jurisdictions.
