About Daniel
Daniel Halimi took a steady path into law. He earned his J.D. from California Western School of Law in 2014 after beginning studies there in 2011. The law degree gave him the academic grounding to move into practice in California.
Halimi’s first recorded legal role came in 2012, when he served as an intern at D Egidio Shah & Townsend, APC. That early experience offered a front-row view of day-to-day legal work. After passing through the firm’s internship program, he returned as an associate in 2015. The title change reflected an expansion of responsibility. By 2018 he had advanced to senior associate, handling more complex matters and mentoring junior colleagues.
In 2019 Halimi opened his own practice, founding Halimi Law Office. The move to private practice marked a shift from working within a firm structure to running the full range of attorney duties: client intake, case strategy, file management and the administrative demands of a small law office. Those years built the operational side of his practice as well as the substantive side.
Professionally he has kept ties to the local bar. He has been a member of the San Diego Bar Association since 2016. That affiliation places him within a network of practitioners in the region and offers ongoing access to CLE and community programs.
Colleagues describe Halimi’s progression as typical of lawyers who rise through a single firm before starting their own shop. He moved from an internship role into associate and senior associate positions, then into ownership. The pattern reflects a mix of casework, client contact and increasing administrative responsibility. His resume shows continuity rather than abrupt changes, and a trajectory from trainee to practice leader in under a decade.
Outside of the specific titles and dates, Halimi’s career demonstrates an emphasis on practicing law in California courts and serving clients in the state. He manages his solo practice day to day and handles the variety of legal and business tasks that come with running a small firm. He continues to live and work in California and maintains active membership in the regional bar association.
He currently manages Halimi Law Office and concentrates his practice on matters arising under California law.
