About Daniel Francis
Mr. Quinn earned his Bachelor of Arts in 1968 and Juris Doctor in 1971 from the University of San Francisco. After completing his education, he was admitted to the California State Bar in 1972. This marked the beginning of a distinguished legal career that has spanned over five decades. His experience includes mediating or arbitrating more than 7,500 disputes across California. These disputes cover many areas, including real estate, agribusiness, labor and employment, and commercial business. Additionally, he has handled cases in probate, contract law, professional negligence, and bad faith claims. Before founding Quinn & Kronlund, LLP in 2003, Mr.
Quinn was a senior partner at Kroloff, Belcher, Smart, Perry & Christopherson. He served in that capacity from 1978 to 1994, demonstrating his commitment to legal excellence during those formative years. Prior to becoming a senior partner, he was an associate at the same firm from 1976 to 1978. His legal career began as a Deputy District Attorney in Santa Clara County, where he served from 1972 to 1975. This early experience in prosecution provided him with a solid foundation in the legal system. Mr. Quinn has been actively involved in various professional organizations throughout his career. He served on the Board of Governors of the San Joaquin County Bar Association from 1981 to 1988, contributing to the development of legal practices in the region.
Since 1988, he has been a member of the Judicial Liaison Committee, further showcasing his dedication to the legal community. His role as a State Bar Court Referee and Probation Monitor for the State Bar of California since 1983 highlights his commitment to maintaining ethical standards within the profession. In 1994, he was the President of the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California, and he served on its Board of Directors during two separate terms, from 1985 to 1986 and again from 1990 to 1991. In recognition of his contributions to the legal field, Mr. Quinn has received the AV Distinguished Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
