About Daniel

Daniel Christmann arrived at law by way of two different systems. He completed a law degree at the University of Munich in 2007 and later earned a J.D. from Charlotte School of Law in 2012. The two credentials reflect training in both continental and American legal traditions. He has spoken about how studying in different countries shaped his view of legal practice.

After completing his education, Christmann pursued licensure across borders. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and in Germany. That dual admission has informed the kinds of matters he takes on and the clients he represents. Colleagues describe him as comfortable handling questions that involve comparative law or cross-border procedures.

His early career combined elements of litigation and advisory work. He spent time working in settings that required familiarity with civil law concepts and U.S. procedure. Over the years he has handled matters that ranged from transactional reviews to court filings. He has worked both inside firms and alongside outside counsel in multi-jurisdiction matters.

Clients and peers note his attention to procedural detail. He tends to break large problems into discrete steps. That approach shows in his drafting and in the way he prepares submissions for courts and regulatory bodies. He also pays close attention to evidence rules and timing, areas that often determine outcomes early in a case.

Christmann maintains a practice across several locations. He operates a main office and maintains additional offices in Greensboro and Greenville. The office structure allows him to meet clients locally while continuing work that reaches beyond state lines. He consults for individuals and businesses that encounter legal issues touching both New Jersey and German law.

As of 2026 he keeps a practice that handles matters arising under New Jersey and German law and serves clients who require representation across those jurisdictions.
