About Dani

Dani Liblang is an attorney whose career spans decades in Michigan courts and federal benches. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Oakland University. Her academic background combines legal training with an understanding of human behavior, an asset in courtroom settings and settlement negotiations.

After law school, Liblang entered private practice and gradually built a practice centered on civil litigation. She became involved in trial work early on and pursued certification that reflects that path. In 2002 she earned certification as a Civil Trial Lawyer from the National Board of Trial Advocacy, a credential that signals courtroom experience and peer review.

Her professional affiliations trace a long record of local and national involvement. Liblang has been a member of the Oakland County Bar Association and the Michigan Association for Justice since the early 1980s. She joined the National Association of Consumer Advocates in 1999. She also took part in the American Inns of Court – Oakland County Chapter, serving as a barrister and later as a master around the turn of the millennium. In 2015 she was named among The National Trial Lawyers’ Top 100 Trial Lawyers in Michigan.

Liblang is admitted to practice in Michigan and holds admission to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. Those admissions permit her to handle appeals and federal matters in addition to state-level civil cases. Her litigation practice encompasses trials and appeals, and she has repeatedly returned to trial work throughout her career.

In 2009 she established The Liblang Law Office, P.C., where she serves as president and lawyer. The firm reflects her long-standing orientation toward consumer and civil litigation. Over the years she has handled cases that require courtroom presence, written advocacy and negotiation.

Clients and colleagues point to her courtroom experience and her certification in civil trial practice as central features of her professional profile. She maintains active memberships in several legal organizations that emphasize trial advocacy and consumer rights. Those associations have shaped parts of her practice and provided forums for continuing legal education.

She currently concentrates her practice on consumer protection, civil trial work and related litigation matters.
