About Dana

Dana Robinson earned her Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1996. She completed her legal education in Southern California and entered the profession as the 20th century gave way to a new era of legal practice. The degree anchored a career that has spanned the changing landscape of law practice over more than two decades.

After law school, Robinson moved into active practice in the late 1990s. She has worked through the practical demands of a practicing attorney's life: drafting pleadings, negotiating agreements, preparing witnesses, and appearing in court. Those everyday tasks form the backbone of her experience. They also shaped how she approaches problems and communicates with clients.

Her work has required both steady attention to detail and the ability to explain complex legal concepts in plain terms. Colleagues describe her as methodical in case preparation and deliberate in courtroom pacing. She has balanced client counseling with litigation responsibilities, adapting strategies as facts and law evolved. That adaptability has been a consistent feature of her work.

Robinson’s career includes advising clients on transactional matters, handling disputes, and guiding parties through regulatory and compliance questions. She has represented individuals and organizations, tailoring advice to fit different goals and risk tolerances. Over the years she has navigated negotiations that resolved matters short of trial and prepared cases that proceeded to contested hearings. Her practice reflects a practical approach: identify core issues, outline realistic options, and pursue the path most likely to achieve the client’s objective.

As of 2026, Robinson continues to practice law. She maintains an active caseload and provides counsel to clients facing complex legal problems. Her current practice centers on advising and representing clients across a range of civil and transactional matters, helping them manage risk and pursue resolution.
