About Dana
Dana Paul studied two different kinds of logic before she ever set foot in a courtroom. She earned degrees in English and mathematics from Arkansas State University, Jonesboro in 1994, then turned to law and received her J.D. from the University of Texas at Austin in 1998. Those dual undergraduate majors left her comfortable with both careful wording and crisp numbers — tools she would use throughout her legal career.
Her early legal work began in Houston. In 2001 she joined Bracewell & Giuliani LLP, where she handled transactional matters and learned the rhythms of large-firm practice. She moved on to national firms and joined Kutak Rock LLP as of counsel in 2006. That role broadened her exposure to complex deals and client counseling. In 2012 she spent time of counsel at Mitchell, Williams, Selig, Gates & Woodyard, PLLC, adding regional perspective to a career that had already crossed state lines.
Paul founded her own firm, Paul Law Office, PLLC, in 2013. The decision to open a practice reflected a long arc: from big-firm structures to the autonomy of running a smaller office. Her clients have ranged from individual property owners to businesses seeking straightforward legal advice. She is licensed to practice in both Texas and Arkansas and maintains active memberships in the State Bar of Texas and the Arkansas Bar Association.
Professional membership has been a steady part of her career. She has been active in the State Bar of Texas Real Estate and Probate Section since 2001 and in the Arkansas Bar Association’s Real Estate Section since 2007. Nationally, she belongs to the American Bar Association. Outside the bar, she participates in local and national groups that connect business leaders and community volunteers. Those include the Network of Executive Women and the National Association of Professional Women. In Northwest Arkansas she has served on the Emerging Leaders Community Enrichment Committee since 2012.
Colleagues describe Paul as methodical and practical in approach. Her background in English and mathematics shows up in work that frequently involves precise drafting and financial analysis. She runs Paul Law Office, PLLC, where she handles matters that involve property, estate planning and related transactional work. Her practice centers on real estate and probate matters.
