About Dana Lynne
Dana Lynne Campbell combines a business background with a later legal education. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from the University of Texas at El Paso, a Master of Management in organizational development from the University of Phoenix, and both a J.D. (2017) and an LL.M. (2015) from Cal Northern School of Law. She is admitted to practice in California.
Her early career centered on nonprofit leadership and organizational finance. In 2000 she served as CEO of the Parent Education Network, a role that placed her at the intersection of program development and administrative oversight. Later she took on financial leadership responsibilities, becoming CFO at a Community Action Agency in 2006. Those positions exposed her to budgeting, compliance, and board reporting at organizations that serve vulnerable populations.
Campbell returned to the law school environment in an administrative capacity in 2018 when she became chief financial officer at Cal Northern School of Law. That same year she launched Campbell Consulting, an advisory firm that provided management and financial guidance to small organizations. After completing her legal degrees, she opened a solo practice in 2020 under the name Dana L Campbell, Lawyer At Law.
Her combined experience in accounting, organizational development and legal training shapes the kinds of matters she handles. She has worked on organizational governance, contract review, and compliance issues arising in nonprofit and small-business settings. Her background in finance informs work on budgets, internal controls and the practical implications of legal decisions for an organization’s operations.
Campbell’s practice sits at the crossroads of law and administration. She advises boards, executives and individual clients on legal questions that have fiscal and operational consequences. She maintains a solo practice in California and continues to provide consulting services through Campbell Consulting. She currently focuses her practice on advising small organizations and individuals on legal issues related to finance, nonprofit governance and regulatory compliance.
