About Dana
Dana Gallup has spent decades practicing law in Florida and arguing matters before the Eleventh Circuit. She studied at the University of Florida, where she completed a bachelor’s degree in history in 1989 and later earned her juris doctor in 1992. Those years in Gainesville shaped her approach to litigation and public service, and they remain the backbone of a long legal career.
After law school Gallup entered private practice. She launched Gallup Law in 2000 and has run the firm since then. Over the years she has handled a steady docket of civil matters and appeals. She is admitted to practice in Florida and is authorized to appear before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
Gallup’s professional life has included visible work inside the bar. She has been active in the National Employment Lawyers Association’s Florida chapter. Colleagues elected her president of the chapter, a role she has held in the past, and she continues to serve as the chapter’s Southern District representative. Those leadership positions have kept her involved in mentoring newer lawyers and in shaping local prosecutorial and defense practices on employment issues.
Her litigation practice reflects that organizational involvement. She brings courtroom experience to employment matters, including trial and appellate work. Her cases have taken her through state court dockets and into federal appeals. She is known among peers for a methodical approach to case preparation and for attention to procedural detail in appellate filings.
Outside the courtroom Gallup has been a frequent participant in continuing legal education programs and panel discussions sponsored by bar groups and practitioner organizations. She has used those venues to discuss recent decisions from the Eleventh Circuit and procedural developments that affect trial strategy. Those appearances keep her current on changes in law and procedure that matter to clients and other lawyers.
Clients and colleagues describe Gallup as a steady presence in contentious matters. She manages a small firm and handles both client counseling and litigation tasks. Her practice remains centered in Florida state and federal courts and includes appellate work in the Eleventh Circuit. She currently concentrates her practice on employment law matters.
