About Cyrus

Cyrus Mor built his path to the law through two very different campuses. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Syracuse University in 2005 and completed his Juris Doctor at Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2011. Those years shaped both his legal training and the kinds of cases he would pursue.

Law school brought practical work alongside classroom study. While at Thomas Jefferson he took on internships that exposed him to public defense and workplace issues. In 2009 he worked with the Office of the Alternate Public Defender. In 2010 he held positions at the Kazerouni Law Group, APC and at the Employee Rights Center, gaining hands-on experience in client interviews, legal research and case preparation.

After passing into practice, Mor set up his own firm. In 2012 he began practicing under the Law Office of Cyrus Mor, APC. He is licensed to practice in California and maintains membership in the State Bar of California. He is also a member of the American Bar Association and participates in the Orange County Bar Association’s Labor & Employment Law Section.

Those early internships and his bar memberships point to the kinds of matters that find their way to his desk. He handles employment and labor issues for individual clients and businesses. His work ranges from advising on workplace disputes to pursuing claims in court or through administrative agencies. He represents clients at different stages of a matter, from initial counseling to formal litigation.

Colleagues and opposing counsel describe him as steady in court and attentive in preparation. He prioritizes clarity with clients and aims to map a practical route through sometimes complex legal rules. His office work mixes drafting pleadings, exchanging discovery and negotiating settlements, and in some matters that leads to trials or hearings.

Outside the office his bar association memberships keep him connected to developments in employment law and litigation practice. He continues to draw on his experiences at the public defender’s office and the Employee Rights Center when assessing case strategy and client counseling.

He practices from the Law Office of Cyrus Mor, APC and maintains an active practice handling employment and labor matters in California.
