About Cynthia S.

Cynthia S. Lyons has practiced law since earning her J.D. in 1989. She built the foundation of her career on a Midwest education, taking a liberal arts path at Purdue University before turning to law. Lyons earned a B.A. from Purdue in 1986 and completed her legal studies at Indiana University Bloomington in 1989.

After law school she entered practice and went on to establish a professional life in the Southeast. Lyons is admitted to the bars of both Georgia and Tennessee. Over the years she has handled matters that cross state lines and developed a working familiarity with the procedural differences between the two jurisdictions.

Her approach to cases is pragmatic. She combines courtroom experience with the day-to-day work of advising clients. Colleagues describe her as steady in litigation settings and careful in client communications. She is the sort of lawyer who prepares thoroughly for hearings and drafts with attention to detail.

Lyons has held positions in private practice and worked with clients of varying sizes and needs. Much of her time has been spent in firm settings where collaboration with other attorneys and staff is an ordinary part of case handling. That experience has shaped how she allocates tasks, supervises support personnel, and presents issues to clients.

She now practices at Griffin Law Group. In that role Lyons represents individuals and businesses in matters brought in Georgia and Tennessee courts. Her work combines litigation, client counseling, and the routine demands of managing files and meeting filing deadlines. She handles filings, prepares discovery, and appears in court when necessary.

Outside of casework Lyons has remained engaged with the legal community. She attends continuing legal education programs and contributes to firm strategy on client development and case management. Her calendar reflects both courtroom dates and time set aside for client meetings and file review.

Colleagues and clients who have worked with Lyons note her direct manner and steady presence in the office. She keeps a practical view of legal problems and looks for solutions that align with a client’s objectives. Her current practice focuses on representing clients through Griffin Law Group, handling matters in Georgia and Tennessee.
