About Crystal West
Crystal West Edwards built her legal foundation at Pennsylvania State University’s Dickinson School of Law, where she earned her J.D. The study of law in Carlisle set the stage for a career that moved steadily from associate-level practice into firm leadership. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Her early years in the profession began in 2008 when she joined the firm then known as Fink, Rosner, Ershow-Levenberg, LLP. That role provided hands-on experience in client counseling and case work. In 2010 she moved to Schenck, Price, Smith & King, LLP as an associate. She remained there through a period of expanded responsibility, ultimately becoming a partner in 2017.
In 2019 she took on a principal role at Porzio, Bromberg & Newman, P.C. The move reflected her progression into senior practice roles and firm management. Colleagues describe her as practical in approach and steady in handling complex matters. Her career path shows a conventional climb through firm ranks, with each phase adding a new layer of responsibility.
Edwards holds a CELA certification from the National Elder Law Foundation. That credential marks completion of rigorous standards in elder law. It signals special competence in legal issues commonly affecting older adults, including planning and public benefits matters. The certification is a point of reference for clients and other lawyers when elder law questions arise.
Her practice has involved counsel on matters affecting older individuals and their families. She has handled cases that require coordination with financial advisers, health care providers and government programs. The work often calls for careful documentation and an understanding of how legal tools interact with personal and medical needs.
Outside casework she has taken roles that require supervising staff and mentoring junior lawyers. The transition from associate to partner and then to principal has included administrative duties and strategic decision-making within firm structures. Those responsibilities have rounded out a practice that combines client representation with internal firm leadership.
As of 2026 she is based at Porzio, Bromberg & Newman, P.C., where she practices elder law and related counseling for older adults and their families.
