About Coy D.
Coy D. Coffman earned his J.D. from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 2010. He trained during a period of change in the legal market and entered practice in Oklahoma soon after graduation. Over the years he has focused much of his work on matters that arise in the transfer and administration of property and estates.
Early in his career Coffman built a practice that leans on transactional skills and courtroom experience. He handles document drafting, title reviews and the steps needed to move real property through closing and probate. He also represents clients in proceedings that require formal administration of estates. His work often brings him into contact with title companies, trust officers and county court clerks.
Coffman maintains memberships in local bar and specialty groups. He is a member of the Tulsa Title and Probate Lawyers Association and belongs to the Tulsa County Bar Association. Those affiliations inform his day-to-day work and keep him connected to changes in probate rules, title practice and local court procedures.
He practices at Coffman & Seidenberger, PLLC. At the firm he works with individuals and other professionals on transactions and estate matters. The office handles a range of tasks from preparing closing documents to guiding heirs through probate filings. When disputes arise, Coffman appears in court and in administrative proceedings to protect clients’ interests.
Colleagues describe him as practical and methodical in his approach. He tends to break complex matters into a series of concrete steps. That method helps clients understand timelines and likely outcomes. It also helps when coordinating with lenders, title examiners and county officials.
Outside the courtroom he continues to follow developments tied to title insurance, property law and probate procedure. He participates in association meetings and local continuing legal education programs. He remains licensed to practice in Oklahoma and keeps an active role in the legal community.
He presently practices at Coffman & Seidenberger, PLLC and focuses his work on title and probate matters, estate administration and related real property issues.
